Here are some resources that will help you improve customer service:

Customer Surveys

  • Survey Monkey (www.surveymonkey.com): Create customer surveys for free. This helps you determine what your customers main interests- and gripes- are about your business and website.

Setting Up Your Own 800 Number

  • Angel (www.angel.com; 1-888-692-6435): This service provides you with an 800 number, and call forwarding to various departments (which may all be your cell phone at first).
  • Ring Central (www.ringcentral.com; 1-888-898-4591): A similar service to Angel, but with a stronger online presence.

Pay By Minute Call Centers: If you need someone to answer phone calls for purchases and FAQ’s, these are your guys. Many people still feel uncomfortable purchasing online and just want to hear a voice on the other end. Give it to ‘em, and collect your money!
